Up Up and Away!!! I know its corny, but cut me some slack. This is my first post on my first blog ever... and I must admit that I am nervous and excited at the same time. The real motivation to start a blog stems from the fact that I am currently learning and implementing new technologies quite rapidly, and wanted to not only preserve that knowledge, but also share it with like minded geeks like me

Needless to say, I am really looking forward to posting a lot of technical stuff that I learn while working with the Microsoft ASP.Net and SQL Server platform. Currently, I am focused on the XQuery capabilities of SQL Server 2005, and I have to admit it has been quite interesting to me. I apologize if many of you do not get their thrills from XQuery, but I am a geek, so I do!!! 
... I have also delved into XML/XSLT, AJAX and XMLHttpRequest a bit, .Net AJAX (Callbacks and ASP.Net AJAX), and some .Net Remoting as well.
This all started in February when I began working as a software development contributor at a non-profit healthcare quality consultancy out of San Francisco. The IT/Programming department here is small, but small has its advantages. We can adopt latest technology advancements faster than most larger companies. This gives me a tremendous opportunity to experiment and implement fresh technologies. Soooooo.... Watch out World... <Marks.Up>!!!
